FAQs & Contact

  • How do I book lessons?

First, register by filling out our enrolment form here. Next, make payment of a semester’s course fee. Upon completion, you will receive a welcome email with a class ID, and an access code for the Learning Management System (LMS) within the next few days.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

At the moment, rescheduling is not an option. When there is a need to cancel a lesson, kindly inform the class teacher in advance. The student will then be provided a video recording of the lesson so that he/she does not miss out on learning.

  • How will my child take lessons?

Our lessons are conducted through an online classroom platform, ClassIn. All you have to do is download the software here, and register for an account. It is recommended to use PCs or tablets, due to the bigger screen size.

  • How do I join my lesson?

You will receive a welcome email with a link to access the online lessons on ClassIn after enrolling. Thus, simply click into it and you will be taken to class.

  • How do I pay for lessons?

Currently, fee payment can only be made via bank transfer. We will provide you with our bank details upon enrolment. Other payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard or PayPal will be introduced soon.

  • Can my child take lessons even if he/she is a complete beginner?

Definitely! A lot of our students start with us as complete beginners. The course series that we use is exceptionally suitable for students learning English as a Second Language (ESL). On top of that, our teachers are all very much experienced, and small groups online learn more effectively than big groups. As long as the student is keen to learn, amazing progress will happen!

  • How many students are there in a class?

The minimum number of students in a class is 2, while the maximum is 5. A class will begin when there are sufficient students of the same level. Please ask us for more information on our available intakes.

  • What is the minimum and maximum age for the students?

The minimum age to join the course is 6, and the recommended maximum age is 12. On a side note, the course level is not assigned based on the age of the student, but on the student's ability.

Older students are encouraged to join too, if they wish to further their English learning beyond the classroom. However, it is recommended that students over the age of 12 enrol in Level 6.

  • My child can’t seem to access the lesson, what should I do?

If you have followed the directions in your welcome email but are still unable to join your lesson, please contact your teacher right away. We will assist you in solving the problem. It is strongly recommended to join the class session at least 5 minutes before lessons start.

  • What if my child cannot understand in class?

Everyone has to start somewhere, and we frequently teach beginners. We know that immersion in a new language can be intimidating, but it is very rewarding too. We are confident that you’ll have fun once you’ve tried it! Even if you start the course with zero English knowledge, we are sure that you’ll leave the first lesson with at least a few words under your belt.

Our professional teachers will adapt the lessons to suit all students and is experienced in making lessons fun and engaging, even for the younger children. So, we believe that our lessons will benefit every child, even if we don’t immediately see the effects.

  • Does my child need to submit homework?

Yes, all homework from the course is compulsory. They can be done on the LMS with just a few clicks or taps.

We are aware that family time is equally important; however fun tasks and online practices help to consolidate your child’s learning. Everyone has only 24 hours a day! We set small homework tasks that will help students practise English independently. We will never bombard them with too much.

  • Can I pick my own time?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Lesson times are pre-arranged. Kindly ask for the timetable before signing up for lessons, and we will happily assist you in enrolment.

  • How often are the lessons?

We conduct two lessons in a week for each class, in an academic semester of typically to 18 - 20 weeks. This allows students to consolidate the acquired material, maintain the continuity of classes and get used to conversations in English.

  • How do I communicate with the teacher?

Students will be added into a class group in ClassIn. Students can ask the teacher if they have any queries. We provide feedback to parents from time to time throughout the course via email or messaging.

  • How often are trial lessons available?

We have enrolment intakes once every 2 months, and we conduct group trial lessons before each intake. Other than that, we are able to schedule a trial lesson for your child in one of our ongoing classes. Feel free to contact us for more details and we will be pleased to assist you.
